FINDING EDEN

Select any emerald that you like, natural or polished. Find a comfortable place to sit undisturbed and close your eyes while holding the stone. In your mind’s eye, picture the emerald growing larger. As it grows, it becomes more transparent, appearing to be lit from within. Continue to picture the emerald expanding in size until it is at least the size of a house.

On the side of the crystal, you see a doorway or gate. Approach this entrance to the stone and ask it to share its mysteries with you. The door opens, and you feel a magnetic pull toward the interior of the stone. Once inside, you see a lush garden; each and every inclusion in the stone appears to be a living plant or creature. Take in the scene with each of your senses. What does it look like? How does it feel to your hands and feet? What is the aroma? What sounds or music do you hear? If you feel adventurous, taste one of the plants, knowing that everything here is safe.

At your feet there is path, indicated by mossy green stepping stones. Follow them into the heart of the garden. You come across a secluded area ringed by tall, flowering bushes. Walk around this circle of plants until an opening appears. Bow your head as you enter, and you are greeted by the emerald goddess. She offers you a token of gratitude for visiting her and sharing her goddess energy with the world.

You may ask of her any question you have or approach her for healing. She surrounds you with a warm, emerald-colored light, which dissolves all your troubles and leaves you gleaming with innocence. When you have finished, thank the goddess, retrace your steps, and return your awareness to your physical body. Allow the emerald to return to its normal size. Take a few gentle breaths and open your eyes.
